Science Lab

Chemistry Lab

Chemistry is best understood through observation, and our chemistry laboratory gives students that opportunity. The lab is furnished with sturdy work benches, a good supply of glassware and apparatus, and chemicals that are stored and labelled according to safety norms.

Students perform experiments prescribed in the CBSE curriculum, such as preparing solutions, testing acids, bases and salts, studying reactions and carrying out salt analysis in senior classes. Every practical is conducted under the guidance of the subject teacher and the lab assistant.

Safety comes first. Students are taught to wear lab coats, handle chemicals carefully, follow instructions step by step and keep their work area clean. Safety equipment such as a first-aid kit and fire extinguisher is available in the lab. Along with scientific knowledge, students develop patience, accuracy and a sense of responsibility.

Physics Lab

Physics explains how the world around us works, and our physics lab lets students see those principles in action. Instruments and experiment setups are arranged to match the syllabus of each class, so that theory taught in the classroom is immediately backed by practical work.

Students work with instruments such as the vernier callipers, screw gauge, spherical lens and prism setups, meter bridge, galvanometer, simple pendulum and other apparatus. They explore topics like measurement, motion, light, electricity, magnetism and heat by taking readings, drawing graphs and analysing results.

Working in small groups, students learn to cooperate, share tasks and draw logical conclusions from their own data. They also learn how to maintain a proper practical file, which is an important part of internal assessment. The lab builds a scientific temperament in which students question, test and verify rather than just memorise.

Biology Lab

The biology lab brings the living world into the classroom. It is a bright, well-organised space where students can study nature closely, from the smallest cell to the human body.

The lab has compound microscopes, prepared and temporary slides, charts, models of the human body and plant structures, and preserved specimens. Students observe cells, tissues, plant parts, flowers and microorganisms, prepare temporary slides themselves, and learn to draw and label what they see. Senior students carry out the practicals prescribed by CBSE.

Beyond practical skills, the biology lab teaches respect for life. Students learn to handle specimens with care, understand the importance of biodiversity and think about health, environment and conservation. The lab experience often sparks an interest in careers in medicine, research, agriculture and environmental science.
